I prefer the X300, but no matter the lines are just proper and the interior so right. I support your debt choice and can concur on it will all be sunk cost.

This was the XJ40 I had back in the day - 350 swapped before LS swaps were a thing.

I was looking at an XJ8 a while back and people told me to stay away from it. I went with the Allroad ins tead.

that jag and the next gen one (XJ6 ones at least) were pretty reliable compared to the usual “OMG UNRELIABLE JAG” stereotype. honestly i’d buy one if i needed a 2nd car
